The studies below are about the ingredients, not about Hondrexil itself.
- Glucosamine with chondroitin. The GAIT trial (Clegg et al., New England Journal of Medicine, 2006) found that adults with moderate-to-severe knee pain who took glucosamine with chondroitin reported relief more often than with placebo: 79% vs 54%.
- Turmeric. A meta-analysis by Daily, Yang and Park (Journal of Medicinal Food, 2016) found that turmeric extract reduced joint pain scores in people with arthritis.
- Ginger. A study of 247 people with knee osteoarthritis (Altman and Marcussen, Arthritis & Rheumatism, 2001) found that ginger extract reduced knee pain on standing more than placebo.
Does Hondrexil contain MSM, boswellia or collagen?
No. Hondrexil in Nigeria contains 8 ingredients: glucosamine sulfate, chondroitin sulfate, turmeric, ginger and vitamins D3, E, B9 and B12.
